Watchmakers Court was a full building refurbishment project we pitched for in the heart of Clerkenwell. I developed a strong new identity for the building, including the creative direction, signage, and wayfinding system. The aim was to reposition the space to appeal to potential tenants from the creative and tech industries, reflecting Clerkenwell’s vibrant and design-led character.
Taking inspiration from the building’s name and the craftsmanship behind traditional watchmaking, I created a visual language that draws on the precision and detail of a watch’s graphic elements. The result was an elegant and distinctive identity that gave the building a clear presence — both timeless and contemporary — and made it stand out to the right audience.
